Langkawi Short Getaway day 1

on the 20th and 21st of Dec, my parents had a seminar at Langkawi island. grabbing this chance as a quick getaway from our uhh so ordinary life, my oldest younger brother (Mat; I'm the Kak Long) and youngest sista (Asiah) and I tagged along. originally it were me & Asiah only, but after much seduction, Mat agreed to comply. the plan was simple: to go island hopping yeehuu!

we boarded via Marine Star II, the ticket was RM 23/pax from Kuala Kedah. it took about 1h++ to reach Kuah. then, we arrived at the seminar venue (The Baron Hotel) at around 3pm. but we had to wait until 4.30 pm before checking in to the room. ampes. lapar kot .we already bought nasi bungkus at the jetty, tapi malulah nkmkn dlm kafe tu kn. so, after my parents went into the seminar #1 slot, we  just played around in the waiting room, utilizing the whiteboard and marker pen (e.g: teka peribahasa, hangman etc).

ok, an hour passed, and we were starving. so apalagi, dengan kulit muka tak berapa tebal, we strolled to the Baron kafe's open air site, picked a quite secluded gazebo, buka bungkus and makan. muahaha sungguh kebulur, sungguh xmalu.

after fulfilling the basic need, it was about 5pm kot, we headed back into the waiting room. not long after that, Mak (my mommie) came to give the room key. dah check in tu, mandi2 lepakla...then at night, I was glued to the new TV3 drama series which replaces Cinta Elysa (oh yeah, saya ikut):Vanilla Coklat. baru nak underestimate, tp lawak kot!

maka thats all for the first day. penat travel je, xpegi mana2 pon

this short getaway notes will be divided into 3 parts according to the days we were there. sekarang saya nkpegi mengaji - loghat utara untuk belajar - kt ustat Mutalib dolu. daaaaaaa

taken from anon @cursingmalay. the issue was about halal haram status of some eateries in Malaysia.

sebetulnya bagi pendapat aku lahh , sebab malaysia ni kate dia negara Islam. jadi kalo dah mcm tu , tak payah lah letak status halal lagiii... cume letak la status HARAM kat kedai2 yg mmg jual makanan/minuman yg haramm. Jabatan agama tak payah suruh syarikat2 tu apply sijil Halal. tapi diaorang nilah yg buat kerje pergi ke setiap restoran dan kedai2 ni dan buat pemeriksaan Halal atau Haram.. kalo Haram , immidiately la letak terus Logo atau sticker atau ape2 yg patut kat depan2 restoran ni. TAMPAL BESAR-BESAR "HARAM"... tapi memandangkan dgn cara bekerja orang2 jabatan kerajaan ni , aku yakin idea aku ni dorang tidak akan laksanakan...

this is a serious matter tp cara si anon tu tulis klaka kot! mmg ohsem kalo dapat laksanakan gini. kalo xde pape kt lua tmpt makan tu = halalllll. kalo ada tanda HARAM segedebuk kt dpn tmpt tu = haroommm. ok la an.

rambut kaler kaler

kadang2 timbul rasa keinginan di hati nk kaler2 rambut. delete that. dh lama gila berangan nk dye my hair. cm shantek ja warna warni tu kan. sbb sdr diri kulit celup milo, takdelahnya mau kaler teruk2. just higlights here and there and voila...

paling mild. sembunyi2 gitew. okla xobvious mana

like, seriously fun!!! 

the color and the cut. harus drool

tp teringin je la, xpnh buat pon. sbbnya, selama ni aku berpegang yang kaler rambut tu mcm merubah kejadian tuhan, maka hukumnya haroooom.

tp pastu dengar2 hukumnya dibolehkan KALAU suami suruh. wah wah wah...kalau dh berlaki haruslah aku pengaruh laki suruh aku dye my mane kn. ngn dia2 skali aku hasut. kaler midnight blue, woot woot so syeksyee

hmm ye ke boleh camtu? kn ada kt pasaran color rambut yg halal suma. tambah lagi, terma 'merubah kejadian' pun aku da jadi 50-50. adakah color rambut tu sememangnya jatuh dlm konsep itu?, sbb berinai di rambut kn dibolehkan.

then recently ustaz mutalib (utaz plg glamer kt rantau Sbrg Perai ni) in his kuliyyah touched about this: (kesimpulan yg boleh dibuat pasal kaler rambut)

haram sbb ia menghalang air dari sampai ke helaian rambut.

kalo a touch je? fine. kalo highlight je mestila xganggu perjalanan air utk sapu kt kepala tu kn, tetapi.................sbg manusia normal, haruslah ada time2 kita berhadas besar. nk nk ladies. monthly tu sah2 makcik bloody mary dtg melawat. so mmg regular la kewajiban bersuci besar ni. i dunno bout guys but, in my limited knowledge, they easily terberhadas besar when they get excited (read: hard on. opps)

jadi. janganlah berasa mandi hadas kau sah, badan kau suci kalau ada part of your body yg tak kena air hatta sehelai rambut. sangat berat kot mende neh. kalo xsuci sah2 solat tiang-agama-tinggal-1kali-80tahun-siksaan itu sia2 ja.



baiklah, persoalan yang mahu ditimbulkan di sini ialah:
1) ada tak brand kaler rambut yg sure pasti punya air boleh telus

kalau ada bagitau please. nk grab 1 laju2

oh btw. melayu rambut karat ialah burok. rs cm nk simbah cat

1) u can see X's response to other comments, with yours in the middle unacknowledged;
2) no response at all, even u're the only that commented
3) na-da, even u're the one who wrote on the wall (as in 'post', not just 'comment'; in case of FB wall). u just exist in X's friend list. yet when u see in X's FB activities, X is active (not applicable to older family members whom u've tagged like 1000 times but didnt realize it)

why ustaz don is a big yes yes

bak kata myra he's cute - yes he is, okla - and that his technique & style are laid back, sempoi and entertaining.
having not subscribing to astro at home, I've never had the chance to watch his show before.
then after much procrastination due to allkpop, seoulbeats, beautiful nara, all the blogs on the bloglist, random youtube channels , I turned on his kuliyyah on the Youtube just now.

oh yeah, he is as how I thought he was, even more 'user-friendlier' with his new-generation-lingo-style. it's as if u're conversing with your own friends. so you wont feel like he's from the other part of the world with his superior islamic knowledge grandeur - it's refreshing. methinks this is a wise way to reach youngsters' heart.

BESIDES..... i just found out that he's using the northern dialect.

do you realize how adorable for men to speak in the northern dialect?
how funnier&friendlier&light hearted they seem? do you? DO YOU?
maybe i'm biased for being so used to having northern-dialect-speaking-people around me, but i'm so getting a spouse of one. hopefully soon
