last week was my dearest cousin's wedding and tonight, all of us are heading to Pasir Gudang Johor at 8pm for her "welcoming-the-daughter-in-law ceremony" (seswai tak kehkehkeh). the wedding is on Saturday = tomorrow; can u imagine: we'll depart by 8pm (HOPEFULLY. no delay please) and it's Permatang Pauh Penang - Pasir Gudang Johor kutub utara kutub selatan sungguh! so, 12h journey is expected. 12hours ladies and gents...and straight to the wedding.

oh my tulang belakang....huaaaa...

and oh, by 'all of us', i meant a 'busfull' of us. hey, it's the first daughter and we're pretty excited then. untunglah kan sapa2 first child yang kawen in a family, semua org beriye gitew

2)UM interview

apparently i passed the UM Aptitude Test the other day (know no aptitude test eh? click HERE to read my rant about it). so, the next phase is the interview la kan.

it's supposed to be on last two weeks, but one of the candidates had to emcee for a national library thingy conference (the reason he emailed to all of us other candidates telling his activity is a mystery - to intimidate ke?). so, it's postponed to next Monday 4th June. as usual - no idea what to prepare, how to act - i mean, the reason why i didnt pass any of the librarian post interviews should be my lack of interview/personality-boost skills, right. right? oh oh oh i'm so so nervous....i badly need the job. 6 months without real permanent job feels like s*** like, like, a minion, a loser. i didnt spent the two years of my life to end up like this:- therefore precious Master scroll, thou better work the magic OK

so please God, if this job is truly my fate: please clear the path for me. make them see the capable hardworking industrious diligent dynamic charming side of me Amiiiin

Langkawi Short Getaway day 1

on the 20th and 21st of Dec, my parents had a seminar at Langkawi island. grabbing this chance as a quick getaway from our uhh so ordinary life, my oldest younger brother (Mat; I'm the Kak Long) and youngest sista (Asiah) and I tagged along. originally it were me & Asiah only, but after much seduction, Mat agreed to comply. the plan was simple: to go island hopping yeehuu!

we boarded via Marine Star II, the ticket was RM 23/pax from Kuala Kedah. it took about 1h++ to reach Kuah. then, we arrived at the seminar venue (The Baron Hotel) at around 3pm. but we had to wait until 4.30 pm before checking in to the room. ampes. lapar kot .we already bought nasi bungkus at the jetty, tapi malulah nkmkn dlm kafe tu kn. so, after my parents went into the seminar #1 slot, we  just played around in the waiting room, utilizing the whiteboard and marker pen (e.g: teka peribahasa, hangman etc).

ok, an hour passed, and we were starving. so apalagi, dengan kulit muka tak berapa tebal, we strolled to the Baron kafe's open air site, picked a quite secluded gazebo, buka bungkus and makan. muahaha sungguh kebulur, sungguh xmalu.

after fulfilling the basic need, it was about 5pm kot, we headed back into the waiting room. not long after that, Mak (my mommie) came to give the room key. dah check in tu, mandi2 lepakla...then at night, I was glued to the new TV3 drama series which replaces Cinta Elysa (oh yeah, saya ikut):Vanilla Coklat. baru nak underestimate, tp lawak kot!

maka thats all for the first day. penat travel je, xpegi mana2 pon

this short getaway notes will be divided into 3 parts according to the days we were there. sekarang saya nkpegi mengaji - loghat utara untuk belajar - kt ustat Mutalib dolu. daaaaaaa

dragged to the career carnival just to lure my unemployed brother to search for ANY job felt like shit. i've been to many and i know there wont be suitable offers for me. jauh. panas. sesak. lapar

so td aku pon konon2 bkla Word konon2 nkstart buat esemen kwn dia (da abes blajaq pon still kna wat esemen org, sungguh tekanan.  n sungguh xley pakai graduan OUM ni HAHAHA sila terasa)

neway, aku lmbat start mmgla partly sbb skenyee keje las menet, tapi....bnyak kot paper budak kna tanda. 4 kelas tuuu. org lain 2 kelas ja. slumber buli aku yg bergelar gantian ni je.
stop whining. terus kpd cita mak tadi.

My dearest closest cousin is engaged, YEAY! Sooo happy for her its finally happened, successfully & joyfully amidst the minor hassle/confusion here and there (except for the cepumas question yg ni pulak bila lagi..duh...its not about me its about her Ok, so just focus on her plz!).

first lemme brief about this cousin of mine. her name is dylla faz (nama glamer la konon), first daughter of my dad's younger bro and I think because of our age (she's a year younger than me) and our location (our current homes (mak abah msg2 punya) are opposite ke kanan sikit je with each other's) make us really close. and of course our similar interests/sense of humor/palahotak elevate that to

and she's also the one you could always ALWAYS count on. serious. sukew jew lyn aku yg byk demand ni, THANK YOU darling gerl, I heart you a pool! (u know how much i love swimming pools, rite?)

OK ckup psl backgroud intro. moh cita psl td yg berlaku pd sabtu yg bersejarah ini. the E ceremony op koz. well i think its an elongated one, considering the fact that we started masak2 and jamu2 makan since friday. mmg penat! tapi sangatttttt sukaaaaaa esp. sbb ramai sedara blah klantan turun. lama kot tok jupo set2 nu, meghiah suguh! (how's my klate mek dila, ok dok? fine, FAIL).

perjalann majlis =
(jumaat) pagi: potong memotong utk lunch n dinner
           tghr: lunch sdaramara blah bapaks (my pak, her pak, paksu, pakndak,
                   toksu etc)
           ptg: dinner with set2 klate (sdare blah her mom yg also berbau baceng ngn
                  my mum) yg telah tiba
           mlm: jamu set2 johor/KL (the bakal tunang's family and frens) hai ramai
                  pulek kawan c wan ni dtg smp terkonpius aku ni tunang ke akad??????

           MUAHAHAHA SILA TERASA

(sabtu) pagi: siap2 utk bfast pastu bfast wth the large large family yg telah gathered
           pagi lewat: we all+org kg started msk2 for the knuri
           tghr: majlis tahlil (plus tahfiz students from ujung kg.), pastu depa mkn dulu.
                   ketibaan tetamu lain
           1-3pm: (blank) sbb zzz~jange mare mek dylla. ambo kononya penak sangak 
           3pm: the rombongan meminang tiba n maken2 supaya temper
                   semuanya berada dalam kawalan ahaks
           4pm kot: sarung2 cincin salam2 gitu
           5-6pm: sedara/org kg je tinggal mkn2 lg. abes sudah.

tema biru, pink sket, hijau pon terselit (acara guna yg ada). set baju, mekap dan bunga tangan dari Jalinan Kasih (yg sponsor faezah elai tu). mekap ok la. real life nmpak cake-y, tp dlm photos cantek. kot. sbb i didnt snap even 1 pic during the day. maka tpaksa mnagih gambars from atie/jue/mirah/syakila etc. so the pics will be updated soon.

ok stop jap sbb nk pi tmpt lame favourite place itu with family. kesimpulannya seronok sbb acara family gathering. oh, and they loved my triffle pudding. dorg la ckp, mayb sbb depan2 so nk jaga hati, mayb juga sedap betul. for me, this first trial masih ada ruang utk diperbaiki (ayat berhemah tak sedap mana pon ko jgn prasan). pics for this pon nati la ek. babai nk mandi dgn ucapan utk dylla fazz:

11:06am – bersama abah menanti maklang yang tengah undergoing chemo since 9am. It should be done by 11.30-12n they said. Six times every fortnight. Tuhanku, Kau ringankanlah beban derita ibu saudaraku ini. Aamin.

update: rupanya 1:00pm baru siap kemo. so blk umah aku agak emo. sungguh tak berperi diri ini. sigh~
